Softball Recap: Lake Worth Comes Up Short

Lake Worth was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their 13th straight loss. They lost 19-0 to the Burkburnett Bulldogs. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Bulldogs this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 16-0 back in March.

Lake Worth's defeat dropped their record down to 2-17. As for Burkburnett, they are on a roll lately: they've won six of their last seven matches. That's provided a massive bump to their 12-16 record this season.

Coincidentally, Lake Worth and Burkburnett will both be playing Bridgeport the next time they take the field. The Bulldogs will host the Bulls at 6:00 p.m. on Friday, while the Bullfrogs will head out to face them at 7:00 p.m. on Monday.
