Pueblo County won the last time they faced Pueblo Centennial and things went their way on Tuesday too. The Hornets put the hurt on the Bulldogs with a sharp 3-0 victory.

Pueblo County's got stronger as the match went on, holding Pueblo Centennial to fewer and fewer points set over set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-19, 25-13, 25-8.

Pueblo County's offense was headlined by Ella Schmitt and Skyla Kopasz, who picked up eight kills apiece. They got some help from Brynn Clementi and her 14 assists. Noel Tapia controlled things from the service line, finishing with four aces.

Pueblo County's win bumped their record up to 14-5. As for Pueblo Centennial, they have been struggling recently as they've lost five of their last six contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 3-7 record this season.

Coincidentally, Pueblo County and Pueblo Centennial will both be playing Pueblo South the next time they take the court. The Bulldogs will head out to face the Colts at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday, while the Hornets will host them at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
