Basketball Recap: The O'Neal School Takes a Loss

The O'Neal School lost against Fayetteville Christian back in December of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The O'Neal School Falcons were beaten by the Fayetteville Christian Warriors 78-22. The Falcons have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Leading Fayetteville Christian to victory were Ethan Durgadin and Avery Perusek. Durgadin almost dropped a double-double on 24 points and nine steals, while Perusek dropped a double-double on 22 points and 11 boards. The contest was Durgadin's third in a row with at least ten points. The team also got some help courtesy of Skylar James, who posted 12 points and six steals.

The O'Neal School's loss dropped their record down to 3-10. As for Fayetteville Christian, their victory bumped their record up to 8-9.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. The O'Neal School will host Trinity Christian at 6:30 p.m. on January 24th. As for Fayetteville Christian, they will look to defend their home court on Tuesday against Village Christian Academy at 7:00 p.m. Fayetteville Christian is facing Village Christian Academy at the right time seeing as Village Christian Academy is stuck on a four-game losing streak.
