Volleyball Recap: Liberty Christian Academy's Luck Takes a Turn for the Worse on Monday

After flying high against Millersport last Wednesday, Liberty Christian Academy came back down to earth. The Eagles lost 3-0 to the Shekinah Christian Flames on Monday. Unfortunately, that's the third time they've come up short against the Flames this season, with their most recent defeat being a 3-0 loss back in September.

The match finished with set scores of 25-11, 25-14, 25-9.

Eleyna Beachy was a one-woman wrecking crew For Shekinah Christian. as she had 37 assists and eight digs. Beachy is on a roll when it comes to assists, as she's now posted 14 or more in each of the last 51 games she's played dating back to last season.

With the loss, Liberty Christian Academy broke their five-match winning streak and moved their record to 11-14. As for Shekinah Christian, the win was the tenth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 21-3.

Liberty Christian Academy does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Shekinah Christian, they wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 3-1 victory against Madison Christian on the 23rd.
