West Plains entered their tilt with Perryton on Tuesday with seven consecutive wins, and they'll enter their next game with eight. They walked away with a 5-1 win over the Rangers. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Wolves also won the last time the pair played back in April of 2024.

West Plains' victory was their seventh straight on the road dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 13-4-1. The road wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 1.4 runs on average over those games. As for Perryton, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost three of their last four games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 7-14 record this season.
