The Mount Calvary Christian Academy Warriors are taking a road trip to challenge Ahoskie Christian at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Keep an eye on the score for this one: the two teams posted some lofty point totals in their previous games.

Mount Calvary Christian Academy lost a heartbreaker the last time they played Suffolk Christian Academy, but it's fair to say they got their revenge given the result of Friday's contest. The Warriors put the hurt on the Knights with a sharp 55-35 victory on Friday. The win was nothing new for the Warriors as they're now sitting on five straight.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Mount Calvary Christian Academy to victory, but perhaps none more so than Carson Howell, who dropped a double-double with 21 points and 15 boards. Those 21 points gave Howell a new career-high. Jentzen Wade was another key player, dropping a double-double with 16 points and 16 rebounds.

Mount Calvary Christian Academy smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 17 offensive rebounds. They are 6-1 when they hit their own glass that hard.

Meanwhile, winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Ahoskie Christian). They really took it to Suffolk Christian Academy for the full four quarters, racking up an 80-46 victory. Ahoskie Christian pushed the score to 58-32 by the end of the third, a deficit Suffolk Christian Academy had little chance of recovering from.

Mount Calvary Christian Academy better focus on containing Jaelen Rascoe and Damion Walker as the pair were huge in Ahoskie Christian's win. Rascoe dropped a double-double with 31 points and 11 boards, while Walker shot 59% from the field en route to 27 points along with seven rebounds and seven steals. Rascoe's big performance that evening made it four games in a row in which he has scored at least 15 points. Camden Drake also deserves some recognition as he scored his first points of the season.

Mount Calvary Christian Academy's record is now 8-4. As for Ahoskie Christian, their record now sits at 3-6.
