Basketball Recap: Centennial Comes Up Short

Centennial was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their sixth straight defeat. They were beaten by the Raymond Central Mustangs 57-25. While losing is never fun, the Broncos can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Nebraska basketball rankings (they are ranked 174th, while the Mustangs are ranked 36th).

Centennial's loss dropped their record down to 2-8. As for Raymond Central, their victory was their fifth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 9-3.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Centennial will venture away from home to face off against Shelby-Rising City on Tuesday. As for Raymond Central, they will head out on the road to take on David City at 5:15 p.m. on Tuesday.
