The matchup between Sheridan and Dayton on Saturday hardly resembled the 2-0 effort from their previous meeting. The Spartans lost 8-0 to the Pirates. Sheridan haven't had much luck with Dayton recently, as the team has come up short the last three times they've met.

Sheridan's defeat dropped their record down to 0-8. As for Dayton, their win bumped their record up to 4-6-2.
