Basketball Recap: Cistercian Takes a Loss

Cistercian was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their sixth straight defeat. They fell 43-33 to the St. Andrew's Highlanders. While losing is never fun, the Hawks can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Texas basketball rankings (they are ranked 731st, while the Highlanders are ranked 226th).

Cistercian's loss dropped their record down to 7-12. As for St. Andrew's, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won seven of their last eight games, which provided a nice bump to their 14-5 record this season.

Cistercian will square off against Fort Worth THESA at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Cistercian is facing Fort Worth THESA at the right time seeing as Fort Worth THESA is stuck on a four-game losing streak. St. Andrew's has already played their next matchup (against Oakridge), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
