Soccer Recap: Spanish River Finds Home Pitch Redemption Against Dwyer

There's no place like home for Spanish River, who bounced back after a loss on the road last Tuesday. They walked away with a 3-1 victory over the Dwyer Panthers on Friday. Given the Sharks' advantage in MaxPreps' Florida soccer rankings (they are ranked 41st, while the Panthers are ranked 126th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Spanish River has also been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five matches, which provided a nice bump to their 10-2-3 record this season. As for Dwyer, their defeat dropped their record down to 7-6-3.

As of now, neither Spanish River nor Dwyer have any future games scheduled.
