The Mauldin Mavericks won the last time they faced the Wade Hampton Generals, and things went their way on Friday too. Mauldin breezed by Wade Hampton on the road to the tune of 76-28. That looming 76-28 mark stands out as the most commanding margin for Mauldin yet this season.
It was another big night for Braden Hershberger, who scored 17 points. Another player making a difference was Nathan Wilbourne, who scored 11 points.
The win got Mauldin back to even at 7-7. As for Wade Hampton, they are on a nine-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-10.
Mauldin will be staying on the road on Friday to face off against James F. Byrnes at 7:30 p.m. on January 5th. As for Wade Hampton, they will look to defend their home court on Friday against Greer at 7:30 p.m.
