Softball Recap: Sangamon Valley/Tri-City Makes It Eight in a Row at Home

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Williamsville, Sangamon Valley/Tri-City was happy to have turned things around on Tuesday. They had just enough and edged out the Pawnee Indians 10-9. The high-flying hitting performance was a huge turnaround for the Storm considering their one-run performance the match before.

Sangamon Valley/Tri-City's victory was their eighth straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 11-2. The home wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 8.8 runs over those games. As for Pawnee, with the defeat, they broke their three-game winning streak and moved their record to 9-3.
