Softball Recap: North Mecklenburg Vikings vs. Hopewell Titans

North Mecklenburg dropped their record down to 10-7 on Tuesday, which also ended the team's three-game streak of wins on the road. They came up short against the Hopewell Titans, falling 18-6. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Titans this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 13-5 back in March.

As for Hopewell, they are on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six games. That's provided a nice bump to their 12-5 record this season. Considering they have won 12 matchups by more than seven runs this season, Tuesday's blowout was nothing new.
