Baseball Preview: Murray Spartans vs. Bountiful RedHawks
Murray is 6-0 against Bountiful since March of 2017, and they'll have a chance to extend that success on Tuesday. The Murray Spartans will be playing in front of their home fans against the Bountiful RedHawks at 4:00 p.m. Murray will be looking to keep their nine-game home win streak dating back to last season alive.
Murray can now show off five landslide victories after their most recent matchup on Friday. They were the clear victor by a 12-2 margin over Granger. The high-flying hitting performance was a huge turnaround for Murray considering their two-run performance the match before.
Kason Bleckert made a big impact while hitting and pitching. On the mound, he didn't allow a single earned run and only two hits over four innings pitched. Bleckert was also solid in the batter's box, scoring two runs and stealing a base while going 2-for-4. He has been hot recently, having posted at least one stolen base the last three times he's played.
