Baseball Recap: Joseph City Comes Up Short

It was a proper cat-fight when Joseph City faced off against Kingman Academy on Saturday. Joseph City lost 20-3 to Kingman Academy. The Wildcats' loss continues a trend for the team, making it three in a row.

Justin Gardner made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and scored a run and stole two bases while going 2-for-3. Kayson Miller was another key player, scoring a run and stealing a base while going 1-for-2.

Joseph City's defeat dropped their record down to 2-6. As for Kingman Academy, their victory ended a three-game drought on the road and puts them at 6-7-1.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Joseph City will challenge Holbrook at 2:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Kingman Academy, they will take on Mohave Accelerated at 3:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
