Baseball Recap: Draughn Wildcats vs. Rosman Tigers
Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Draughn). Their pitcher stepped up to hand the Rosman Tigers an 11-0 shutout on Tuesday. The win continues a trend for the Wildcats in their matchups with the Tigers: they've now won seven in a row.
Tate Jensen was a major factor while hitting and pitching. On the mound, he kept things locked down with no earned runs or hits while striking out 14 over five innings pitched. What's more, he gave up only zero hits, the fewest he's had since back in February of 2024. He was also big at the plate, scoring a run and stealing Two bases. while going 1-for-2. That's the most stolen bases he has posted since back in April of 2024.

In other batting news, Jacob Mull was incredible, going a perfect 2-for-2 with one home run, two stolen bases, and three runs. The dominant performance gave him a new career-high in runs. Gage Dula also deserves some recognition as he hit his first double of the season.
