Volleyball Recap: Wakefield Comes Up Short

Wakefield lost against Blue Valley back in September of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. The Bombers took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Rams. The Bombers have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back matches.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-7, 25-11.

Wakefield's defeat dropped their record down to 1-14-1. As for Blue Valley, they have been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 8-11 record this season.

Wakefield didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 2-0 loss against Republic County on the 27th. As for Blue Valley, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 2-1 defeat against Bennington on the 27th.
