Soccer Game Preview: Community Charter vs. Bert Corona Charter

The Community Charter Titans will head out on the road to challenge the Bert Corona Charter Knights at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Community Charter will be strutting in after a victory while Bert Corona Charter will be coming in after a loss.

Community Charter took a three-goal defeat the last time they faced off against Lakeview Charter, but this time they managed to keep it close and that made all the difference. The Titans' defense stepped up to hand the Lions a 1-0 shutout on Thursday.

Meanwhile, Bert Corona Charter was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their sixth straight loss. They fell 6-4 to Valley Oaks CES. Even if Bert Corona Charter couldn't come away with the win, the high-scoring effort was a great turnaround for their offense, which had struggled int the games prior.

Community Charter's victory ended a four-match drought on the road and puts them at 4-5. As for Bert Corona Charter, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-7.
