It's playoff time, and Plaza Heights Christian Academy had no trouble coming through when it counted. Everything went their way against the Maranatha Baptist Academy Warriors on Thursday as they made off with a 15-0 victory. The result was nothing new for the Lions, who have now won six matchups by six runs or more so far this season.

Hayden Patterson was a standout: he got on base in all three of his plate appearances with three RBI, two runs, and one double. Those three RBI gave him a new career-high. Remi Schieber was another key player, going 1-for-2 with two runs, one stolen base, and one double.

The win made it two in a row for Plaza Heights Christian Academy and bumps their season record up to 10-6. The victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered a grand total of 6 runs in those games. As for Maranatha Baptist Academy, they are on an 11-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-5.
