Basketball Recap: Oakdale Takes a Loss

Oakdale lost against Manteca on January 4th and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Wednesday. The Oakdale Mustangs took a 50-39 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Manteca Buffaloes. The Mustangs' loss continues a trend for the squad, making it five in a row.

Oakdale now has a losing record at 11-12. As for Manteca, the win snapped their losing streak at three games and leaves them with a 11-13 record.

Oakdale will face off against Central Catholic at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Central Catholic will roll in looking for their fifth straight victory, something Oakdale surely won't give up without a fight. Manteca has already played their next match (against Sierra), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
