St. Bonaventure posted their closest win since March 28th on Monday. They had just enough and edged out the Foothill Tech Dragons 2-1. This was payback for the Seraphs, who suffered a 4-1 loss the last time these two teams met.

St. Bonaventure saw six different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Henry Bamieh, who went 1-for-2 with two RBI and one double. That's the most RBI Bamieh has posted since back in March.

St. Bonaventure hit smart and finished the game with only two strikeouts. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Foothill Tech struck out seven times.

St. Bonaventure is on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 19-6 record this season. As for Foothill Tech, with the defeat, they broke their four-game winning streak and moved their record to 14-11.

St. Bonaventure will have a chance to go back-to-back against the Dragons: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
