Southeast had to travel to play their first game of the season, but the final result was worth the trip. They breezed past the Robinson Knights to the tune of 42-0 on Friday.

Liam Fernandez was a one-man wrecking crew as he threw for 132 yards and three TDs, and also rushed for 89 yards and one score on only eight carries.

Another reason for the win was Southeast's imposing defense, which managed to get into the backfield for three sacks. The team can thank three different players for their defensive prowess: Dominik Tellado, Kevin Dorelien, and Myreon Lowe, who each picked up one sack apiece. Another thorn in Robinson's side was Tellado, who picked up a sack and made eight total tackles (3.0 for loss).
