Basketball Recap: Mifflin County Comes Up Short

Mifflin County lost against Palmyra on January 3rd and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Mifflin County Huskies fell to the Palmyra Cougars 40-34. The game marked the Huskies' lowest-scoring matchup so far this season.

Mifflin County's defeat was their fourth straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 7-9. As for Palmyra, they moved to 7-9-1 with that win, which also ended their four-game losing streak.

Mifflin County has already played their next contest, a 75-62 victory against Selinsgrove on the 29th. As for Palmyra, they are taking a road trip to take on Red Land at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
