Softball Recap: Wasilla Takes a Loss

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Wasilla can now relate to. They took a 4-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Colony Knights on Friday. The shutout was out of character for the Warriors seeing as the last time the team failed to score was back in April.

Wasilla has traveled a rocky road recently, having lost three of their last four matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 13-11-1 record this season. That patch can't be blamed on the team's pitching effort, having only surrendered 3.5 runs on average over those games. As for Colony, they are on a roll lately: they've won 26 of their last 28 games. That's provided a nice bump to their 36-4 record this season.

As of now, neither Wasilla nor Colony have any future games scheduled.
