Football Recap: Jemison Panthers vs. St. Clair County Fighting Saints
Jemison unfortunately couldn't capitalize on their home-field advantage in their season opener. They were beaten by the St. Clair County Fighting Saints 61-21 on Friday. While losing is never fun, the Panthers can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Alabama football rankings (they are ranked 294th, while the Fighting Saints are ranked 34th).
When it comes to explaining why Jemison lost, don't look at Adrian Davis. Despite the final result, he rushed for 149 yards on only 12 carries, and also picked up 38 receiving yards and one score.
