Soccer Game Preview: Grandview vs. Air Academy

The Grandview Wolves will venture away from home to face off against the Air Academy Kadets at 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Both come into the game bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

Grandview barely beat Eaglecrest the last time the pair played, but that sure wasn't the case this time around. Wolves never let the Raptors get on the board and left with a 5-0 win on Tuesday. Isabella Limas-Villers had the honor of scoring the game-winner for Grandview.

Meanwhile, Air Academy earned a 3-1 victory over Liberty two weeks ago. Even though Air Academy got in a bit of trouble with the refs ( Charlotte Williams was handed a red card), the team managed to overcome the adversity.

Something new happened two weeks ago as Cayenne Wynia saw her first action of the season, playing ten minutes against Liberty. Wynia made the most of the opportunity, putting up one assist A few more games like that and she might be seeing even more time going forward.

The win made it two in a row for Air Academy and bumps their season record up to 3-1-1. As for Grandview, their victory (their first of the season) made their record 1-3-1.
