William Monroe fought the good fight in their overtime contest against Spotswood on Wednesday but wound up with a less-than-desirable result. They fell just short of the Trailblazers by a score of 1-0. Having soared to a lofty four goals in the game before, William Monroe's shutout was a dramatic turnaround.

Meanwhile, Hermitage kept up with Maggie Walker until halftime on Tuesday, but afterwards: not so much. Maggie Walker never let Hermitage get on the board and left with a 6-0 win. Des Unice was a massive factor in the win as he booted in three goals all by himself.

Maggie Walker's victory was their first in the region, bumping their region record up to 1-1-1 and their overall record up to 4-1-1. As for William Monroe, the defeat snapped their winning streak at three matches and leaves them with a 3-2-1 record.
