The Grace Christian Crusaders put another one in the bag on Tuesday to keep their perfect season alive. They blew past Seaforth 63-34 at home. Considering Grace Christian has won four contests by more than 28 points this season, Tuesday's blowout was nothing new.
Sarah Strong continued her habit of posting crazy stat lines, shooting 5-for-11 from deep and dropping a double-double on 27 points and 15 rebounds. That makes it four consecutive games in which she has scored at least 25% of Grace Christian's points. Another player making a difference was Halisi Whitley, who scored 12 points along with 6 rebounds.
When it comes to explaining why Seaforth lost, one person who can't be blamed is Gabby White . Despite the final result, she dropped a double-double on 18 points and 11 rebounds. The contest was White 's third in a row with at least ten points. Mia Moore was another key contributor, scoring 8 points.
Seaforth struggled to work together and finished the game with only two assists. They were crushed by their opponents in that department as Grace Christian racked up 16.
Grace Christian's victory was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 7-0. They've been dominating during the matches in that stretch too, as they've won by an average of 37 points. As for Seaforth, their loss dropped their record down to 2-1.
Grace Christian will face off against Georgetown Visitation Prep at 8:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Seaforth, they will be playing at home against Graham at 6:00 p.m. on Friday.
