Volleyball Recap: Houston Comes Up Short

Houston was the 2-0 winner over Tournament Opponent when they last played one another back in August of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. The Mustangs fell 2-0 to Tournament Opponent on Friday. The Mustangs have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Their offense was headlined by Charli Coleman and Sydni Vice, who picked up three kills apiece. They got some help from Ansley Pardue and her eight assists.

Houston's loss dropped their record down to 6-4.

Houston wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 2-1 defeat against Trinity Catholic on the 29th. As for Tournament Opponent, they have also already played their next match, a 2-1 win against Highlands Christian on the 29th.
