Football Recap: Swink Takes a Loss

Swink fell victim to Las Animas and their airtight defense on Friday. They were outmatched by the Trojans and fell 62-0. The Lions lost against the Trojans in their previous head to head back in October of 2024, too, but the margin this time around was even wider than the 48-12 score last time.

Orion Martinez produced another solid performance rushing for 218 yards and one score on only 15 carries for Las Animas. Cyler Jagers got in on the action as well, converting a pick into a touchdown.

Swink's defeat dropped their record down to 0-9. As for Las Animas, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 7-2.

As of now, neither Swink nor the Trojans have any future games scheduled.
