Volleyball Recap: Havana Comes Up Short

Havana lost against Macomb back in October of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Ducks took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Bombers.

While Havana had to take the loss, they sure made a game of it, especially in the first set. The final score came out to 25-22, 25-16.

Emily Westerhold had an outrageously good game for Macomb as she had 16 digs and two aces.

Havana's loss dropped their record down to 8-12. As for Macomb, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won six of their last seven matchups. That's provided a massive bump to their 12-8 record this season.

Havana has already played their next contest, a 2-0 defeat against Illini Bluffs on the 9th. As for Macomb, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next match, a 2-0 loss against Quincy Notre Dame on the 8th.
