Volleyball Game Preview: Los Altos Conquerors vs. Covina Colts

The Los Altos Conquerors are taking a road trip to challenge the Covina Colts at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday. Los Altos will be strutting in after a victory while Covina will be coming in after a loss.

Los Altos took a loss when they played away from home two weeks ago, but their home fans gave them all the motivation they needed on Tuesday. They put the hurt on Alta Loma with a sharp 3-0 win.

Meanwhile, Covina was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their ninth straight defeat. They lost 3-0 to Colony.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-10, 25-8, 25-19.

Covina's loss dropped their record down to 4-16. As for Los Altos, their victory was their fifth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 18-10.

Everything went Los Altos' way against Covina in their previous meeting back in March, as Los Altos made off with a 3-0 win. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Conquerors since the squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
