Volleyball Recap: Jefferson Academy Takes a Loss + How To Watch

Jefferson Academy lost against Denver Christian back in September of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Jaguars came up short against the Thunder, falling 3-0.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-23, 25-13, 25-23.

Emily Neptune paced Jefferson Academy's offense, picking up six kills. Neptune got some help from Ravel LaBerge and her 12 assists. LaBerge also made an impact serving: she shared the team lead in aces with Katerina Shadrach, racking up two apiece.

Breegan Austin had a dynamite game For Denver Christian., getting 17 digs and six assists. Those six assists gave Austin a new career-high.

Jefferson Academy's defeat dropped their record down to 1-1. As for Denver Christian, the win was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 5-2.

Jefferson Academy has already played their next game, a 3-0 loss against Lutheran on the 29th. As for Denver Christian, they will host Buena Vista at 10:30 a.m. on September 6.
