There's no place like home for Whiteland, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Tuesday. They came out on top in a nail-biter against the Martinsville Artesians on Wednesday, sneaking past 1-0. This was a revenge game for the Warriors: when they faced off against the Artesians on Tuesday, they had to take a 4-3 loss.

The team relied heavily on Kiley Sullivan, who went 2-for-3 with one stolen base, one run, and one double. Another player making a difference was Kaelyn Putnam, who went 1-for-2 with one double and one RBI.

Whiteland is on a roll lately: they've won six of their last seven matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 9-5 record this season.
