Softball Recap: Casa Roble Wins Going Away Against Woodland

Casa Roble got themselves on the board against Woodland on Tuesday, but Woodland never followed suit. They were the clear victors by a 12-0 margin over the Wolves. The Rams haven't had any issues with the Wolves recently, as the game was their seventh consecutive victory against them.

Zaria Gee was incredible, going 2-for-4 with one home run, four RBI, and two runs. The team also got some help courtesy of Emily Gomez, who went 2-for-4 with one home run and two runs.

Casa Roble was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .394. They are a perfect 10-0 when they post a batting average of .375 or better.

Casa Roble's record is now 13-5-1. As for Woodland, they have been struggling recently as they've lost eight of their last nine contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 4-17 record this season.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Casa Roble will challenge Sutter at 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday. The Rams are facing the Huskies at the right time seeing as the Huskies are stuck on an eight-game losing streak. As for Woodland, they will take on Natomas at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday. The Nighthawks have struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 21.06 runs per game on average), something the Wolves will no doubt try to take advantage of.
