Football Recap: Helix Comes Up Short + How To Watch

Helix suffered their biggest loss since October 4, 2024 on Friday. They had to suffer through a 51-14 loss at the hands of the Casteel Colts. The Highlanders were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 23-0.

Although Helix took the loss, they still got scores from Jeremy Davis and Jake Williams.

Helix didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off two passes before the game was over. The picks came courtesy of Davis and Jeremy Robinson. Davis has been hot recently, having also posted seven or more total tackles the last three times he's played. He got in on the action too, converting a pick into a touchdown.

Helix's defeat dropped their record down to 0-2.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Helix will square off against St. Augustine at 7:15 p.m. on Friday. As for Casteel, they will challenge Liberty at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
