While Pigeon Forge's win against Gatlinburg-Pittman wasn't quite the blowout it was the last time the pair played, they still came out on top. The Tigers skirted past the Highlanders 3-2. The game was the first time the Tigers have beaten the Highlanders on their court since August 29, 2023.
The match was a true back-and-forth as no team won consecutive sets, but in the end it was Pigeon Forge who won the one that mattered. The final score came out to 25-18, 18-25, 25-23, 24-26, 15-12.
Kylie Reddell paced Pigeon Forge's offense, picking up 37 kills. Reddell got some help from Rylinn Ginter and her 40 assists. Sophie Maddox controlled things from the service line, finishing with seven aces.
