Softball Recap: Parkrose Comes Up Short

Parkrose was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their 43rd straight loss dating back to last season. They were a single run away from ending the streak, but they lost a 6-5 heartbreaker at the hands of the Milwaukie/Milwaukie Academy of the Arts Mustangs. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Broncos of the 10-2 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in April of 2023.

Parkrose's loss dropped their record down to 0-21. As for Milwaukie/Milwaukie Academy of the Arts, with the victory, they broke their three-game losing streak and moved their record to 5-15.

While Parkrose had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
