Soccer Recap: Blazer Takes a Loss

Blazer fought the good fight in their overtime match against Russell on Wednesday but wound up with a less-than-desirable result. They fell just short of the Red Devils by a score of 1-0. Considering the last time Blazer couldn't score was back in August, the team can't take the result too hard.

Blazer's loss was their first in the district, dropping their district record down to 2-1 and their overall record down to 7-9-3. As for Russell, their victory was their fourth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 14-6.

Coming up, Blazer will take on East Carter at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. Russell does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
