Stansbury took a seven-run loss the last time they faced off against Park City, but this time they managed to keep it close and that made all the difference. The Stallions skirted past the Miners 4-3. This was a revenge game for the Stallions: when they faced off against the Miners on Tuesday, they had to take a 7-0 defeat.

Beckham Rowley spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: he surrendered three earned runs on six hits and racked up six Ks.

On the hitting side, Stansbury's win was truly a team effort as four different players contributed at least one hit. One of them was Jaxon Adams, who went 1-for-3 with two RBI and one run.

Stansbury has been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six contests. That's provided a massive bump to their 14-10 record this season. The victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 8.0 runs over those games. As for Park City, their loss was their first in the region, dropping their region record down to 13-1 and their overall record down to 18-5.

Stansbury will have a chance to go back-to-back against the Miners: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 3:30 p.m. on Friday.
