Northern Durham is a perfect 10-0 against Hillside since April of 2019 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Tuesday. The Knights will venture away from home to take on the Hornets at 6:00 p.m. Northern Durham is coming into the matchup on a three-game losing streak.

On Thursday, Northern Durham didn't have quite enough to beat East Chapel Hill and fell 9-8.

Roxy Nelson was cooking despite her team's loss, going 3-for-4 with two runs, two doubles, and one stolen base. Eleri Herrera was another key player, going 2-for-3 with two stolen bases and two runs.

Meanwhile, Friday just wasn't the day for Hillside's offense. They came up short against Riverside-Durham on Friday, falling 23-0. The Hornets have struggled against the Pirates recently, as the game was their seventh consecutive lost meeting.

Northern Durham's loss dropped their record down to 3-12. As for Hillside, their defeat dropped their record down to 6-6.

The pitchers for both teams better look sharp on Tuesday as neither team is afraid to steal. Northern Durham has been swiping bases left and right this season, having averaged 2.7 stolen bases per game. However, it's not like Hillside struggles in that department as they've been averaging an even more impressive 8.3 stolen bases. The only question left is which team can snag more.

Northern Durham took their win against Hillside in their previous meeting back in March by a conclusive 10-0 score. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Knights since the team won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
