Basketball Recap: Pinkerton Gets Big Win over Higher-Ranked Trinity

Pinkerton won the last time they faced Trinity and things went their way on Tuesday too. The Pinkerton Astros managed a 68-64 win over the Trinity Pioneers. The victory was all the more spectacular given the Astros' disadvantage in MaxPreps' New Hampshire basketball rankings (they are ranked 44th, while the Pioneers are ranked eighth).

The win made it two in a row for Pinkerton and bumps their season record up to 5-7. As for Trinity, their loss dropped their record down to 8-3.

Pinkerton will be playing in front of their home fans against Londonderry at 5:30 p.m. on Friday. One thing working in Pinkerton's favor is that they have posted at least 55 points in their last three matchups. As for Trinity, they will head out on the road to take on Alvirne at 6:30 p.m. on Friday. Alvirne will roll in looking for their fourth straight victory, something Trinity surely won't give up without a fight.
