Basketball Recap: Water Valley Starts Season with Defeat on the Road

Water Valley had to start their season on the road on Tuesday, and it wasn't the start they were hoping for. They received a blow as they fell 55-36 to the Eldorado Eagles. The Wildcats' defeat continues a trend for the squad, making it 14 in a row dating back to last season.

The victory made it two in a row for Eldorado and bumps their season record up to 7-3.

A feisty cat fight will be fought when the Water Valley Wildcats face off against the Blanco Panthers at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Eldorado, they will be taking part in a tournament against Grape Creek at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday.
