Soccer Recap: Logan Elm Comes Up Short

Logan Elm was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They were a single goal away from ending the streak, but they lost a 2-1 heartbreaker at the hands of the Liberty Union Lions. Logan Elm were not able to make up for their defeat to Liberty Union from their previous meeting back in October of 2024.

Logan Elm's loss dropped their record down to 4-6. As for Liberty Union, the win was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 3-7-1.

Logan Elm and Liberty Union could both be facing uphill battles in their next games considering their disadvantage in the MaxPreps Ohio Rankings. The Braves (ranked 475th) will meet Warren (ranked 187th) at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. Meanwhile, Liberty Union will take on Fairfield Union at 5:30 p.m. on Monday with a big rank disadvantage (454 vs. 171).
