South Hills saw some tournament action  on Thursday. Everything went their way against the Elsinore Tigers as the South Hills Huskies made off with  a  7-1 win. The result was nothing new for the Huskies, who have now won four matches by six  runs or more  so far this season.
 Alyssa Tofolla spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered only one earned run on four hits.
 At the plate,  Charli Moreno and  Brianna Sanchez did most of the damage at the plate:  Moreno  scored a  run while going 2-for-4, while  Sanchez  scored two  runs while going 2-for-4. The team also got some help courtesy of  Jaselle Mendoza, who  got on base  in three of her four plate appearances with one  triple.
 South Hills  always had someone on base and  finished the game having  posted an OBP of .514. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Elsinore only posted  an  OBP of  .280.
The  victory made it two in a row for South Hills and  bumps their season record up to 4-2. They've dominated over that stretch too, winning by an average of 11 runs. As for Elsinore,  this is the second loss in a row for them and  nudges their season record down to 1-3.
 South Hills wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next  contest,  a  3-3  tie against Gahr on the 4th. As for Elsinore, they are headed away from home for the first time to  square off against  Chaparral  at 3:15  p.m.  on March 6th.
