Monroe came tearing into Friday's match with eight straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 3.9 goals), and they left with even more momentum. They never let the Everett Seagulls get on the board and left with a 5-0 win. Monroe might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won nine games by three goals or more this season.

Monroe's victory was their fourth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 14-1. The home wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 21 goals over those four contests. As for Everett, they now have a losing record of 5-6-4.

Monroe does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Everett, they will look to defend their home pitch on Tuesday against Marysville Getchell at 7:00 p.m. Marysville Getchell will roll in looking for their fourth straight victory, something Everett surely won't give up without a fight.
