Soccer Game Preview: Pine View vs. Carbon

The Pine View Panthers will square off against the Carbon Dinos at 3:45 p.m. on Saturday. The two teams are strolling into their matchups after big wins in their previous games.

Pine View is looking to give their home crowd another W after opening their season at home on Thursday. They blew past Hunter 4-1. Jaciel Morales had to tread lightly for part of the match after he was hit with a yellow card, but that was the only trouble Pine View got from the refs.

Pine View hit Hunter with a three-pronged attack, as the team got scores from Andy Prudencio (2), Jerick Schmutz, and Russell Jacobs.

Meanwhile, Carbon kept a clean sheet against Juab on Friday. They were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over the Wasps.

Everything went Pine View's way against Carbon in their previous matchup back in March of 2016, as Pine View made off with a 7-2 victory. Will the Panthers repeat their success, or do the Dinos have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
