After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Glenwood, Springfield was happy to have turned things around on Thursday. They put the hurt on the Quincy Blue Devils with a sharp 4-1 victory. The result was nothing new for Springfield, who have now won eight matchups by three goals or more so far this season.

They hit Quincy with a four-pronged attack, as the team got scores from Gavin Oyler, Cesar Velasquez, Arielle Robinson, and Sam Sosamena.

Springfield's win bumped their record up to 13-7-2. As for Quincy, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 7-11-2.

Looking ahead, Springfield will square off against Jacksonville at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Springfield's defense better be ready for this one: Jacksonville have averaged an impressive 4.2 goals per game this season. Quincy does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
