Volleyball Recap: Earlville Gets the Win + How To Watch

Plano came into Tuesday's matchup looking for another win against Earlville, but Elizabeth Vazquez wouldn't allow it. The Red Raiders skirted past the Reapers 2-1 with plenty of help from Vazquez, who had 26 digs. With that strong performance, she is now averaging an impressive 10.8 digs per game.

Earlville had a slow start but a hot finish: after dropping the first set, they turned around to win the next two. The match finished with set scores of 19-25, 25-15, 25-17.

When it comes to explaining why Plano lost on Tuesday, don't look at Abigale Lind. Despite the final result, she had ten digs and three aces. Jessel Leon also deserves some recognition as she had her first kills of the season.

Earlville's win bumped their record up to 6-8. As for Plano, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 8-13.

Coincidentally, Earlville and Plano will both be playing Sandwich the next time they take the court. The Reapers will head out to face the Indians at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday, while the Red Raiders will host them at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday.
