Volleyball Recap: Rosamond Takes a Loss

Rosamond was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their fifth straight loss dating back to last season. They fell 3-1 to the Antelope Valley Antelopes. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Antelopes this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 3-0 last Tuesday.

The final score came out to 25-19, 25-16, 24-26, 25-17.

Rosamond's defeat dropped their record down to 0-3. As for Antelope Valley, they are on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 5-2 record this season.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Rosamond will host Palmdale at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Rosamond is facing Palmdale at the right time seeing as Palmdale is stuck on a three-game losing streak. As for Antelope Valley, they will welcome Knight at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
